Children are involved in activities and experiences both inside the classroom and out.  Daily activities are planned to help children develop skills in social behavior, language, creative arts and music, cooking, early science and mathematical concepts, and large and small muscle coordination.  On a regular basis, the children work with a music/movement specialist who integrates current classroom learning, as well as new materials into the program.

Every child is encouraged to work to their potential, understanding that abilities, talents and strengths vary from child to child.  Individual time with each child allows the teachers to monitor goal achieving skills and to select certain activities which will help them be successful in reaching their potential.

We firmly believe in a full outdoor program for the children.  Time is spent each day is spent on our well-equipped playground.  For children to actively construct their own knowledge, they must have the opportunity to manipulate, explore, initiate and choose.  They need the chance to touch, feel, smell, taste, probe and experiment.  Self-discovery is the pathway to true learning!
